Hello all...
Been having a problem for a couple weeks now.
When I boot up the comptuer I get an error message
BOOT: NTLDR is missing
Please insert another disk
I have searched the MS support site and tried the various suggestions
including:
Boot from XP cd, goto repair console and run fixboot and fixmbr
I've also booted from Knoppix to make sure that the drive is marked as
active and it is..
If I put the XP CD in the drive and dont press any key it will get into my
windows install fine.
I have copied the NTLDR and NTDETECT.com from the CD to the c drive
boot.ini looks fine (best I can tell.. My boot drive is sata )
Dont know where else to go at this point
