I have a Compaq computer tha t came with a recovery partition. I removed the
recovery partition and when I start my system it still ask me if I want to
start in Recovery console or Windows XP. What All should I remove from
Boot.ini file?

[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition" /fastdetect

I kinda have an idea but don't want to screw anything up. Thanks for any
advice.

Why would it be asking you anything? Your timeout is 0. Recovery Partitions is nothing to do with Windows. It's also nothing to do with Recovery Console (which is part of Windows).

No. I've aleready told you what it is. The recovery console is in c:\cmdcons it is part of windows. Recovery partitions is by the computer manufacturer, it has nothing to do with Windows. Windows hasn't even started yet. Talk to whoever made your computer.
