Boot Hangs

Hello,

My computer hangs when booting up the computer. It hang at
the messsage "loading you personnal settings". This
messsage never appeared before.

I disable every item listed in the startup. It still hangs
on bootup.
I'm not on a network. Can someone advised me how to
resolve this problem.

Get the free program bootvis at

to see the whole boot process and which drivers are hanging while starting
up. You might also want to check your event log in control panel> admin
tools to see if there are any errors there.

Regardless if your on a Network or not.
The first thing you do is see if you have a Network card installed.
If you do go into the TCP/IP properties and set a static IP address (192.168.0.5).

If thats not the issue check your Event Viewer logs to see what errors are there.
