When I boot my system I get a Floppy Error(s) 40. I have only had this
problem since I had to reset the BIOS settings. I havent got a floppy drive
as it had to make way for my card reader with which Ive had no problem with
since. So how do I get it to not report this error every time?

Go into the Bios and (normally under 'standard settings' depends which bios
it is) set the floppy drive to not installed.

Thanks, dont suppose anyone knows the best way to turn off the
standard pc speaker either, its quite annoying beeping everytime I do
something?
The beep you are hearing is an audible warning from the motherboard that
something is wrong. It would be foolish to ignore it. It may be as
simple as your keyboard needs to be replaced, but since you haven't
described the beep I wouldn't make that assumption. Beeping can mean
your computer is overheating or other hardware components are failing.

Ive only heard it so far when a Error box pops up, before the beep has come
through the external speakers which I dont mind. As an error box comes up
also I dont really feel the need for both and I do find the internal beep to
be a bit'windows 95' if you know what i mean, lol.
