Books on writing EXCEL MACROS (for beginners)

I am looking for some good book(s) on Excel formulae, functions and o
writing Excel Macros for beginners. Can anyone help me
 
I'd take a look at John Walkenbach's Excel 200x Bible:

If you think you'll want more, and can afford it, I'd really recommend
getting both the Excel 200x formulas and Excel 200x Power Programming
with VBA, since you may not be a beginner for very long.
