Books get cheap

Went to my local bargain store last night,
and they had all these Microsoft Press .NET books -- from 2002 -- at $6.99!

Including one I bought about 2 months ago at B&N for $40. Ah, well.

I've found that CompUSA typically carries books that are
new titles, but were returned at Borders, B & N etc and
are in very good shape, usually for less than half of the
price.

Do you know of any internet sites with cheap books?

The market got flooded with titles last year, so I am not surprised it is
getting cleared out. Most of the MSPress titles from 2002 are still good
works, but they are based on .NET Framework 1.0 and Visual Studio .NET 2002.
That makes them old.
