That depends on a couple of things.

First, how are you making PDFs from your PowerPoint presentations? Specifically,
do you have Adobe Acrobat and if so, do you use PDFMaker (the toolbar and menu
item that appear in PPT) to create PDFs?

Or do you use some other method? If so, please describe it.

Next, what do you need to accomplish with the bookmarks?

See, in PDF terminology, bookmarks are ... well ... like bookmarks in a book.
They mark a particular place in a document but unless you have a link or
something else that points to that place, they're not very useful.

no. i print PPT to printer file (PRN)

something similar to key contents... (like chapters in book)

See, in PDF terminology, bookmarks are ... well ... like bookmarks in a book.
They mark a particular place in a document but unless you have a link or
something else that points to that place, they're not very useful.

... what? object, text, no matter what? link to page to objec on this page?, how
can i insert invisible link? because i cannot place anything more into
presentation/ pdf)

A lot depends on the method you're using to make the PDFs. That's why I asked.

If you're making PostScript files and running them through Distiller or GhostScript or
something else that supports a technology called PDFMark, then it's possible -- very
very tedious but possible -- to create little EPS files that you can insert into PPT
and that cause links and other interactive PDF features to be added when you make PDF.

If you're using a non-PS driver, then it's not possible other than creating links
manually in the PDF using Acrobat or some other similar editor.

PRN is similar to PS. i quess it can preserve all information like post script..
PRN is processed with Adobe Distiller... as far as i know there is something
about bookmarks and hyperlinks...

PRN is similar to PS.

There's no guarantee of that. When you redirect printer output to file, Windows makes a
PRN file by default. If you happen to be using a PS driver, then the PRN = PS.

But a PRN file might contain any other sort of printer output. HPGL, PCL, or whatever
your current printer happens to speak.

If Distiller eats it, then it's PostScript. Now we're getting somewhere. ;-)

Again, it depends a lot on the specifics of what you're linking from and to.

If you're creating hyperlinks and action settings in PowerPoint, then Prep4PDF will be
able to convert most if not all of them to working links in your PDFs, as long as
there's a comparable feature supported in PDF.

You already have Acrobat. If you installed it before you installed Office, try
reinstalling it. That will add a new "PDFMaker" toolbar in PowerPoint. It will pick up
some, but not all, of PPT's links and convert them to PDF. Try that first. If it works
for the links you're using, you're home free.
