Has anyone read the book Microsoft .NET Remoting by Williams, Naftel, &
McClean (Microsoft Press)? There are mixed reviews on Amazon. I'd like to
know what you think. If you've also read Microsoft .NET Distributed
Applications: Integrating XML Web Services and .NET Remoting by MacDonald,
I'd also be interested in your opinion of that.

I haven't looked at either of those books, but I did find "Advanced .NET
Remoting" by Ingo Rammer helpful once upon a time...

Before you go down that path, read:

I agree with Bailo that the book is excellent but the Remoting book you
refer to is great too. Ingo Rammer's book Advanced .NET Remoting in
(VB.NET/C#) is the finest on the subject I've come across though.
