I block a word then bold it, when I continue to type the bold is still on.
Is there some way I can fix that. In WordPerfect it would go back to regular
type - it would just bold what you blocked.

This sound like a question about MS Word. This news group is dedicated to
answering questions about the database application MS Access. I would
suggest that you ask your question in one of the newsgroups dedicated to MS
Word.

WordPerfect is a database too?

[insert Jedi Mind Trick here]: Yes, that's what they want you to believe.
my first professional "database migration" was from several dozen WordStar
1.0 files on an old Osbourne -- to Access 1.1. What a fiasco.

That said, ... LOL!

Sounds like you're asking about Microsoft Word. This is a database group,
so you'd have better luck in a Word group, but off the top of my head, you
might try one of these:

Here is a [press ctrl+b]BOLD[press ctrl+b] word.

Here is a BOLD [double click the word bold and hit a toolbar button then
continue] word.
