I would like to make the System Options in the following formula bol
and underlined, but I can not seem to do that. I can make differen
parts of a regular text string bold, but not within a formula. Is ther
a way to do that?

="System Options
(not included in estimated cost)

Cash Drawer Inserts 2 INCLUDED
"&IF('IBM Quote'!E49<1,"",'IBM Quote'!E49&" - Cash Drawer Bracket an
Installation "&TEXT('IBM Quote'!C49,"$#0")&"/ea
")&IF('IBM Quote'!E48<1,"",'IBM Quote'!E48&" - Monitor Bracket an
Installation "&TEXT('IBM Quote'!C48,"$#0")&"/ea
")&"Bun Warmer Brackets $125/ea
Custom Programming $90/hr
(PLURR programming provided)
"&IF('IBM Quote'!E46<1,"","OCB Integration "&TEXT('IB
Quote'!G46,"$#0")&"
")&IF('IBM Quote'!E38<1,"","Integrated Credit Card Processin
"&TEXT('IBM Quote'!G38,"$#0")&"
")

Thank you!

I bet Don was using the word Text as a synonym for constant--not a formula.

Formulas don't allow this kind of formatting.

and if i want to do that in a formula how can i make it, i know it can be done by conditional format, but in formula like (bold) part?
=if(A2>2;"text"(bold);1)

I meant that the cell has to be TEXT and NOT a formula if you want to bold
only PART of the cell.
