Board comparison

I am looking at two different boards for my new, Athlon based computer
- the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe (nForce 4 SLI)and the Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI.
I can't see which of these is the superior board. Could someone help me
out? Also, could anyone recommend a graphics card which could do these
boards justice with a gig of RAM?

The ASUS is the most popular one, and thus has the most BIOS updates and
drivers. Also, this board is oftenly used for the "Best Buy Guide" of
Tweakers.net, a big Dutch Hardware site. So I would go for the ASUS.

About the graphics card: 7800GTX is the best card you can get these
days. It is expensive though.
