bluetooth adapter Trust BT180 an Windows XP Prof. doesnt work

I tried to install a Trust Bluetooth adapter but already the installation of
the drivers fails. The computer doesnt respond anymore when bluetooth modems
are installed. After rebooting verything seems normal the computer fails to
see the phone and vice versa when bluetooth is turned on on both the computer
and phone and I try to search for new devices on the pc. Probably the Trust
adapter is crappy?
Does anyone have experience with this adapter?
