See these links. There should be something there to help you.

3 main methods

1. go to the programs folder in your c drive and delete its folder

2. use add/remove programs

3. remove it from the startup list using msconfig (go to the start menu then
run then type msconfig -- then go to the startup tab and find it, and untick
it)

Good luck!

Really? Is that you YOU did to get rid of it?

Is it REALLY that easy to get rid of, or are you just blowing smoke out
of your ass?!

Yo may be right about the 'blowing smoke'! Try Add/Remove first, though
it probably won't work. Then, find it in 'Programs',right click the exe,
(if you don't see the exe go to 'Tools' 'Folder Options' 'View' and
uncheck the 'Hide extensions for known file types'and close the window)
then select 'Properties', 'Version'; go through the 'Items' list and
make notes of the Company name, File name, Original name, etc. Then go
to 'Run' 'msconfig' 'Startup' tab and look for the name, uncheck it.
Then go to 'Run', 'regedit' Go to 'File' 'Export' and pick somewhere to
put the registry backup,in case you goof. Then open
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE', 'Software' and look for the company or file name
there; look at the values inside to confirm that it is what you're
looking for. The Registry can bite real hard if you screw it up, so make
sure it's the right thing, that's why you backed it up first. Delete the
@#%^&#%^&!! {8^) Then go back to the 'Programs' and delete things one by
one from the folder. All the files and folders inside, the 'Dat' and
'ini' files; the dll's you probably will have to move to the desktop and
wait 'til after you restart in order to delete. Good luck! And for
future reference, pay very close attention when you install things that
you select custom options if possible to deslect these 'cool' tool bars
and other assorted junk. These things are insidious and very hard to get
rid of!!

It is a very nasty and notorious piece of spyware.
And I'm not suggesting you do this, but a couple of
years back the only quick option we had was to
format and fresh reinstall on an infected win98se PC.
Hopefully other posters and the links they have supplied
will be of help.

This is a nasty bit of spyware that is hard to get rid of. It used to be
fairly easy to remove but lately there is a version that is much more
persistent. You will need Adaware SE, Spybot Search and Destroy, and
Microsoft Antispyware. It sounds like the Search and Destroy you have is not
Spybot. You will need to install all three programs and update them. You
will then have to boot into safe mode, log in as each user on the pc and run
a full system scan with adaware and spybot, removing everything they find.
Pay attention to where the files are stored. You will have to reboot into
safe mode again, as administrator and delete the folder where the files
were. This will be a hidden system folder. You will then reboot into regular
mode and Microsoft antispyware will pop up about some program trying to
change IE settings. Block the program from doing this. Do a full system scan
with MS antispyware and remove anything it finds, again paying attention to
where the files are stored. Reboot and delete the folder. Now scan again
with adaware and spybot. They will both find remnants in various folders.
Remove the files but do not delete the folders as these folders are used by
other programs. You are now rid of it. Depending on how many users are on
the pc it can take several hours to remove it. I give my customers the
option of a clean install or four hours labour to remove it. Removing this
spyware can also sometimes cause problems with Windows after it is removed.
It is so deeply embedded you may have to repair the winsock settings or even
do a repair install after it is removed.
