My computer is about a week old.
And ever since I have gotten it, I have gotten nothing
but blue screen after blue screen.
Each one a different problem and different error code.
I have checked my memory, it seems to be fine. I have
checked for viruses, I have none.
My last one was
Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_equal
beginning of physical memory dump
memory dump complete, or something to that effect.
NDIS.SYS

I also get some with atapi.sys
and a few more.
What could cause all these blue screens?

Sorry forgot to add- I am running Windows XP home with
Service pack 1
Pent 4 3.0 ghz
2 gigs of ram
Etrust antivirus
and sygate personal firewall pro

start it up with the side off and check the fans are running.

I tested the memory with a program and there came up no
problems with the memory.
I thought that is what it was too.
I have a 4 year warranty on this thing so I guess ill
have someone come out and check it out

probably bad memory. try swapping out you memory chips
and try them one at a time. dispose of the one that
causes the error.

Yup the fans are running

OK, then switch off and try reseating all components and connections. Just
check them to be sure they are firmly inserted. As its new there is a
possibility there is a loose connection or component somewhere. maybe moved
in transit, maybe just not properly installed.

If that doesnt work, double check you have all the latest drivers and
updates, do virus scans and adscans, then if that doesnt work take or send
it back or get an engineer out, depending upon your service contract.

Take or send it back to where you got it. A week old 'puter should work
better than that!

Then there is something seriously wrong with the machine, It is new
and under warranty - take it back, and don't try anything that they
could say voids that warranty
