blue screen displaying dumped file

now i cant remember the name death something.. anyway i was able to download updates on my cousin pc now i get this error on the blue screen. with (savrt.sys) . i then was told that norton needed to be updated.or reinstalled.. but the pc will not stay on long enuff it shuts down before loading up.. did all the virus updates. in safe mode with networking up. one was removed but the pc is still not functioning.. what to do??? i tried everything i know.

Could you please post the Stop Code that accompanies the BSOD? With that,
you problem could be isolated.
