After the Blue Screen appears it shows up the error code and below it a
message "dumping to physical memmory".

after the system rebooted i clicked on send an error report. this enabled me
to see the error signature:

BCCode: a BCP1:E25C700 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000001
BCP4: 80630955 OSVer: 5 1 26000 SP: 2 - Product 256 1

a dump file (dmp) was created and sent to microsoft with my system settings.
unfortunately i wasn't able to track the report.

im not sure what is causing the problem but i have a hunch.
it may be my linksys router. the crash occured after a few attempts to
update its firmware. (the update failed: it says it can't load the data into
flash ROM). however it has also crashed once beforehand so im not completely
sure.

so please please help.

Hi

Could you please post the exact Stop Code (BCCode) from the BSOD? With that
your problem could be narrowed down.

Just in case you're not sure how to obtain the Stop error details, this is
how to do it.

Go to System Properties --> Advanced --> in the Startup & Recovery section
of the menu, remove the checkmark from "Automatically restart". When the
system crashes again, it will hang on the BSOD. The "Stop" error will be at
the bottom of the screen.
