BLog idea

Hi-
My company is wanting to use the first page of our
intranet as a Blogging tool. I'm looking for the most
economical and friendly way to do that. I'm thinking a
Word document with tracking and permissions set, might be
a possibility. I know I can link to a Word document -
but is there anyway I can automatically open a word
document in the main body of an HTML page? or is there
anyway to set that type of interactive loging (with
tracking) in Front page?
Has anyone used Frontpage to do this - or any add-ins
that might work? This is new for me so I'm looking for
some good suggestions.

If you are running FP2003 and Windows SharePoint Services (under Windows 2003 server) there is a built in Weblog Template
- otherwise search for an ASP webblog template

there should be lots of stuff on www.hotscripts.com and you can sort/ search
based on what server side technology you have.
