Blocked Senders

Since I had posted this as a reply to a very old post and have gotten no
responses, I am posting it again as a new post.

I have Outlook 2003. When I receive a junk email, I highlight it (without
opening it) and click on the "Add sender to blocked senders list." The email
is sent to the Junk folder and I delete it from there. It seems that I
almost immediately receive another email from the sender I just blocked.
This happens too often to be a coincidence. Does using this procedure notify
the sender that I am blocking them?

Thanks for the help.

Kris

Don't waste your time adding anyone to block senders list. Spammers change
their address frequently. You can right click to add to Junk Senders list and
then press Shift+Delete to permanently delete. Change your Junk Mail Settings
to Low or High to send most Junk to the junk folder in the first place.
