Hi Jonathan,

I have tried to block port that you told me, but the
branch still can send file to me(maybe using port 80 that
already opened).

In my router is set to permit ports that needed to be
opened, and now for IM we need to know what port should
be openned for send message.

Could you give me information what port should be openned
to send text message.

Regards

Hi Darile,

Are they using MSN Messenger 6? If so, they will be able to send files regardless because
MSN Messenger 6 can send files through the Messenger connection.

Text messages also just go through the Messenger server (which either connects on port 1863
or 80).
