Blind Copy and Distribution List Confidentiality

Tom

Well it's that time of year, and I am, for one, grateful for email. I have
several hundred holiday greetings to send out. And my question is simply
this:

Is it possible to create a Distribution List in Outlook 2003 and send a
BLIND copy of a holiday greeting to everyone on the Distribution List in one
large BCC or "Blind Copy" entry containing all the addressees? If so, what
are the steps.

Also, is it possible for any recipient of a "blind copy" to be able to
examine the "raw" text of my email and retrieve the names of everyone on the
list? This concerns me greatly. So putting it another way is there any
better way that I might be overlooking to insure that my recipients list is
kept confidential?

I'm new to Outlook so please be specific.

Thanks.

If you put all of the recipients' addresses in the BCC field of your
message, no one will be able to see anyone else's address, whether you
use a distribution list or enter each address individually.
