Blind auto forward?

Is it possible to blindly include someone in a distribution list? So that
when the list is opened the recipient isn't included in the list but they
still automatically receive e-mails? I have seen this happen and am curious
as to how it is done.

The people who are "blindly" included in the distribution list are not
receiving auto forwards either.
 
Not within the DL but you can BCC them.
