Blaster worm update

i install the blaster worm patch from microsoft update
and reboot then the pc just keeps looping after it gets
to the microsoft logo.

any help would be great.

the patch isnt a cure, its to prevent you getting the
virus. Run a virus check to get rid of it. I found my
computer only looped if i connected to the net, that may
or may not be the case with you, if so dont connect next
time, and try re-configuring your connection (worked for
me). the root of the problem probably lies under
C:\windows\system32 as a file called "msblast.exe", get
rid of that also.
