Blank Window

I have only had Vista for a few weeks and so far I've not had too many
problems, except for a 'Blank Window' popping up, which I can't get rid of.
I don't even know where it's come from. I'm also having a problem getting a
screensaver to come on. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated

IS this during startup or just randomly?

Go Start Orb>in the search box type Run. When that comes up type in
msconfig. Go under the startup tab and check to make sure only applications
you want to start with the PC are starting up. It sounds as if you are
infected with spyware which is causing the blank window to pop up.

As for the screensaver have you checked your settings?
