Blank Screen

We have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server that peroidly goes to a blank screen.
Operating system seem to be working as we do see disk activity.
Only course of action is to hard boot Server.
Error logs does not indicate anything that would have caused the problem.
We are unable to terminal serv during black screen stage.
Any Ideas would be helpful.

maybe make sure the power options in the controll panel in not causing this
