Blank screen

Hi'
Pressed Alt + F5 by mistake today and the screen went blank. Got it back by
going into standby ( Fn + F3 ) and then coming out. On restart (hot and cold)
I get the XP logo then the screen goes blank and i cant get to login screen
without doing the fn + F3 trick again. Any ideas
 
Off hand I'd say you activated your external monitor on your laptop and to read
the manual on how to return it to normal

Managed to get it back to normal by enabling 2nd screen and tweeking its
settings. Guess i wont be hitting Alt + F5 again any time soon!
