Blank pages on his computer not mine

Odd behavior... two of us open the same database, and preview the same
report,(not at the same time), on two different computers....

when he previews it, he gets a blank page every other page, and when I do
the same preview I don't get blank pages.

However, when he actually prints it, he does not get the blank pages.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

MartyO,
Guessing...
Sounds like the default printer margins he "previews" in... differs
sightly from
the margins of the actual printer used for the hard copy.
The min left/right margins for his Preview (default) printer are larger
than the
min/max margins of the printer he actually printed with.

In any case, make sure both printers have the very latest drivers
installed.

Odd indeed. That kind of things is usually caused by a less
than perfect font file, an old/imperfect printer driver, or
different printers with different minimum margins.

ummm... well, we are opening the same file, opening the same report and
printing to the same printer (not two different printers). The only
difference is that we are doing it from two different computers.

Where do I check the Print Preview settings vs. the Printer settings? I'm
not sure what you mean. No matter where I pull up Page Setup the margins are
the same and the printer is the same.

That's what I assumed...

Your default printer is defined through Windows
(Start/Settings/Printers), but
usually you don't have any control over the min margin values. Those are
hard
wired into the driver.

Here's how I check my min margin values...
In report design, select PageSetup/Margins.
Set all the margins to 0.
You're windows default printer definition will override your 0
values with
it's own default minimum margin values.
Given .5, .5, .5, .5 (my default margins)... I set them all to 0, and
get...
0.126, .5, 0.25, 0.25
Those are my printer minimum margins...

Try that on both computers in that report's design mode.

Any difference?

** I repeat... Access is very fussy about printing, and you both should have
the
very latest (and identical) drivers installed. At least... reinstall the
same driver on both

** If you can not determine the problem after these suggestions, consider
adjusting the
report. It might just be 1/16" that's barking...
