Blank pages on a report not caused by excessive width

I have a report, printing landscape, where occasional pages come out blank.
There's no rhyme or reason to it. I'd have thought this was caused by fields
that are too wide, but even if if I delete all fields apart from one or two
at the left to show what page I'm on, I still get blank pages.

In my experience in creating reports, one must change the margins to .5 to
enable using a report width to 10". If you do not change the margins and
leave them at 1" each side, then you must stop at 9" as a total width for
the report.

Perhaps you have blank records or sections.
