Blank Pages in IE7

Can anyone advise me as to why for seemingly no reason at all I get blank IE7
pages coming up on my screen(s)

their case.

Under internet option where you set your default start page, there is an
option to set that to blank.I actually prefer IE start at a blank page, as I
almost never want to go to the page I ha it set to default

I have a default page set up in there, it is not blank. I may not even be in
Explorer when the blank page will come up
