I have a report with three subreports. For some reason I am getting a blank
page before and after my report. I have checked margins, footer height and
detail section settings but can find no reason for this occurance.

Can anyone give me some guidence on what to look for in order to remove
these extra pages?

Check the ForceNewPage property for each section in the
report.

Check if you have blank Report Header and/or Report Footer
sections.

Check if you are using a Page Break control anywhere.

Marsh,

I checked the ForceNewPage and it only appeared in the Detail Section
properties and had "None" in the box.

I do not have a report header/footer; only page header, detail and page
footer.

I do not know where to check the PageBreak control. Can you please tell me
where to check that?

A page break control can not be in the page header/footer
sections. They are represented by a short line at the left
edge of the section and can be difficult to see. One way to
look for them is to look through the control drop down list
in the top left of the formatting tool bar (A2003 and
earlier). Another way that is usually useful is to use the
tab key to move through the controls in the report's design
view.

I was fairly confident that the problem would be something
about the report header/footer sections. Are you certain
that these sections are not in your report. Sometimes the
sections exist but have a Height of 0 so you don't pay any
attention to them.
