Hi Everyone,

I am using bitlocker with Vista Ultimate on a laptop without a TPM. I
recently installed SP1 and if the computer is booted without the USB flash
drive, bitlocker prompts for the key giving the option to provide the
recovery key by pressing ENTER or rebooting by pressing ESC. Prior to
installing SP1, I could insert the USB flash drive with the key and press ESC
to reboot. With SP1 installed, I press ESC and the computer hangs requiring
that I press the on/off button to reboot. I did a small experiment by
pressing ENTER instead of pressing ESC going to the key recovery screen. From
there I pressed ESC and the computer rebooted normally.

I tried a clean install of Vista adding SP1 immediately and the problem
still persists. Any suggestions? If this is a defect, how does one let the
Vista teThanks!
