"BIT DEFENDER"

Hello,
I am running Windows XP Professional and I recently
downloaded an evaluation version of an online virus
program called BitDefender from www.bitdefender.com...I
used the program for awhile and then decided to remove it
cause i decided to go back to Norton Antivirus...I
removed it by going into Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs and removed the program...but the program is
still loading when i signed onto XP...its icon appears in
the systray and it continues to monitor my computer...I
have tried to delete the "Softwin" folder in Program
Files and i get the following error message:

ERROR DELETING FILE OR FOLDER

"Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and
that the file is not currently in use"

Does anybody have an idea on how I can rid myself of this
program...your help is appreciated...Thanks....Raoul
..

Did you disable Bitdefender before uninstalling it (so its uninstal
could actually delete the inuse file)? Have you rebooted since the
uninstall (since some installs and uninstalls will not complete until
the reboot since they need to rename, move, or delete inuse files)?

What did BitDefender say regarding uninstallation of their evaluation
version? Have you tried using the Live Chat online support? Maybe
their manuals tell you how to properly uninstall their product
(http://www.bitdefender.com/bd/site/support.php?menu_id=15).
