Many thanks to all who have sent me greetings, very nice of you all.
I often wonder what if....What if,if I had been launched into space on my first birthday,in a space craft with full life support systems plus a nanny, just how far into space would I be by now. Say traveling at 20,000mph.It`s a thought.

13,490,400,000 miles way possibly?
But a Rocket Scientist like Ian might do better on the maths?

Exactly right for 77 years, feckit.

But I suspect that Historian has just turned 76 (and is now in his 77th year) so I reckon that he would have only travelled 13,315.200,000 miles. :D

Ooops! Just noticed, you didn't begin till your first birthday so now only travelling for 75 years. Distance now a paltry 13,140,000,000 miles.

My word that is a long way out.
Have I reached the Andrometer Galaxy yet?

Nowhere near !

Andromeda Galaxy is 2.3 million light years away.

That's 2,300,000 x 365 x 24 x 60 x 60 x 186,000 miles

Or 13,681,421,000,000,000 miles.

So, at your speed you are approximately one millionth of the way there.

Only another 76,000,000 years to go ! :D

You need a more powerful engine - better get the GT version. :D

Looks as if I should have been launched at a much faster speed.
Still when I do get there PCR will get a postcard from me. That is,of course,if the human race, and for that matter, the planet earth are still viable.
One thought has crossed my mind. In 5 billion years time the Andromada galaxy will collide with my home galaxy, bringing me back home! So PCR you may be getting that postcard sooner than I thought.
