biosinfo.inf missing or corrupt error after installing SP2

Help, my computer will not reboot after installing SP2.
I recieve the following error, Windows could not start
because the following file is missing or corrupt
C:\Windows\inf\Biosinfo.inf The only instructions in the
Microsoft knowledge base do not help. I tried to do a
repair and this also did not help. Any ideas would be
nice.
