Soon I will be firing up my A7N8X Deluxe for the first time. What bios
version do I want or does the old "if it ain't broke..." apply?

if it aint broke, is especially the rule for bios'
you might want to look at the new nforce drivers v3.13 I noticed
significant gains with these sw ide drivers over the microsoft ones.
I'll assume your gonna run XP
