Big User Profile Size.

Hi,

I have 2 questions to ask.

1. Does a big user profile size slows you down when logging on.
2. I tried using GPMC to edit a GPO with computer and user configurations,
but only the user configurations work, the computer configurations have no
effect at all on the computers linked to the GPO. (I only need the
interactive logon message text/title).

Blueberry,

Yes, profile size does matter to a certain extent, but so does having many
redundant profiles on the machine too.

There is a tool from Microsoft that can clean up these redundant entries for
you & should help speed things up

1- Yes but you can setup with the GPO the folder that you want to
syncronize with the PC.

2- Just to make sure, are your computer in the same OU that your user.
are the computer setting disable.
