BIG BIG bug with notepad and view source

V

Vertical

When im searching the internet now (The problem began
today), and I go to view source on a webpage, I can click
view source in either the View Menu up top, or by right
clicking, when I do this, the source will not open. I am
currently attending ITT Technical and I know alot about
computers, this is a bug or glitch, not just a common "I
cant read my email" problem. It does this on any website
that I view including my own at hlevolve.com any help
with this issue or a patch to fix it would be greatly
appreaciated. (Notepad will still open, but I still cant
view the source of any page.)

You a gambler? I bet if you remove the shortcut to Notepad from your desktop
(or rename it NPad or something) the problem goes away. Yes it's silly, no I
don't know why. Move the notepad icon to the quick launch bar and it's
fine... ?!?

Vertical,
There may be several reasons .........

1) If a shortcut exists on the Desktop for Notepad, rename it.
2) Some users have reported Quick View Plus to be the culprit?
[or]
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab | Delete Files button
Also select the option: "Delete all offline files"
Then click the "Clear History" button, while you're at it ......
Reset the TIF cache size to 50 mb. Click Apply\Ok
