Freedom is hardly a term that should be used when describing the Linux
community.
These religious nutcases follow a cult like dogma that stipulates all
will agree, completely, with the articles of Linux or face the
consequences.

There are several boycott sites up and running, funded by Linux
radicals.
These include:

http://boycottxandros.com
http://boycottlinspire.com
http://boycottnovell.com

Here we see the radilcal Linux zealot in action.
Better agree with these nuts or they will boycott you as well.

Freedom?
Choice?
Who the **** are they kidding........

Please don't paint the entire Linux community with the same brush because
most Linux users are good people who will respect whatever OS you decide
to run.
Your example is taken from the group comp.os.linux.advocacy which is
pretty much regarded by the Linux community at large as a complete joke.
It might come as a surprise to you but there are only a small handful of
fanatics over there but they account for the vast majority of the hate
threads. One person, a student, posts thousands of Microsoft hate
messages per month to that and other sites such as digg.com and netscape.
It is suspected that he is being compensated for his efforts.
These fanatics are a small group of certified nuts who make the rest of
the Linux community look foolish.
It's best to just avoid them all togther and use whatever operating
system supports the applications you need to run.
