Hi to Bill S & Robin W
Have now jumped in with both feet as you suggested and
guess what - all seems to be OK
I now have version 1.0.615 (previous was 614)
However, I see that the Def Version, 5727, is what I had
with 614. So what is with 5733, 5735, 5739 and any other
Def Vers that I may have missed.
And of course the update doea not appear to have solved
the time setting for 24hr clock so followed your good
advice and reset it - and it has taken

Try this:

1. open control panel Internet Options, click button "Delete Files". When
done, close the control panel.
2. Open MSAS, and try a manual definitions update: pull down the "File"
menu, and select "Check for updates".
3. If that fails to make a permanent update to your definitions (one that
does not keep repeating), check towards the end of the file
C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware\errors.log
to see if there are any erros logged at the time of your update.

Hello Robin
Many thanks for your suggestion - did 1) and 2) and 5739
updated me.
I dont know how I forgot to do this simple thing when any
other time I download or add a new prog/application I
nearly always remember to do an immediate check for latest
stuff.
