Beta Functionality

I'm running a beta version of Windows Vista (build 5744) and now that the
real deal has now been released, when will the betas cease functionality, if
they will at all?

Of course it expires. All Betas do so.

Vista B2/Rc1/RC2 expires End of May / Beginning June 2007
Longhorn ( the Vista Server ) B2 expires sometime in 2008

type in winver and see what it says in your case exactly.

Be sure to backup your data BEFORE.

I thought they did, but I wasn't entirely sure. Thx for the help. In my case,
it'd be the end of May.
