best way to represent a regexopitons value

is it best as int or varbin(4). the database is sql express file. what
about the control binded to the field?

The largest value in the RegexOptions enumeration is 512. Given that it has
the flags attribute, and 128 is missing in the sequence, the largest number
you have to worry about is 895. The smallest datatype you could use in SQL
Server is a smallint.
