Not sure which you want? WinAmp or RealPlayer?

Most people in here seem to prefer WinAmp 2 over WinAmp 3

Instead of RealPlayer you might want to try Jet Audio http://jetaudio.com/ .
It is capable of playing Real Audio and Video without needing Real Player
(and its spyware) installed. There was a long discussion about Jet Audio in
this group a short while ago.

I'm using RealPlayer version 8 to play my MP3 files.
Seems to have better sound quality than Winamp or
JetAudio. Gives a lot better frequency response using
my Infinity speakers.

Just my opinion.

If it's a real player substitute I'd suggest Media Player Classic

icon, it's not from Microsoft.

For Audio, I used to use Winamp 2.8, but have been using Windows Media
Player 8 or 9, not sure which (whatever came with my XP intstall).
