Best Server Hardware Configuration for IIS/SQL Server

First, I appologize if this is not the best group to post this in.

I've got an AMD 1700+ with 512 ram and an Intel 3.2 with 1 Gig of ram.

We run a web server with IIS and Cold Fusion which gets about 50,000
page views per day. The application is very db intensive.

Which machine would be best to utilize as my SQL 2k db server and which
would be best to utilize as the web server?

The latter box is faster, more memory, more appropriate for
the db, providing it also has same or better drive(s) in it.
This is assuming the web server is nothing special, not a
heavy load for server-side tasks.
