Best place to enter the input mask?

Another question then, and this has puzzled me for some time. Do I enter the
input mask for the control in table design, or form design? It appears I can
do either, though I did note that if it's done on the form side, the input
mask is visible when you start entering data.

Which side has precedence if there is a difference, the form side, or the
table side?

AFAIK, the only advantage to adding an input mask at the table level, is
that the mask will be included in the form control if you use the wizard to
build the form/report, or if you drag the field from the Fields list onto a
section in form/report design view. personally, i rarely add an input mask
at the table level, preferring to do it at the form level when and where i
need it.
