best hasle-free firewall?

I know this is a too worked over question by now, but over the past 10 years
I've been maintaining my own home computers the firewall software has given
me the greatest problems. I have XP Pro's firewall enabled now as I just got
done dumping a popular free brand 'cause my network was messed up by its'
settings. So what does everyone think?
