So instead of visiting av-comparatives.org and review their results to make
your own conclusions, you need to have this "tester" tell you what are *his*
conclusions.

I didn't get any warnings using Avira. Avira seems to use very little inDo NOT go to that site. Avira brings up a virus warning !!!!!

know to be ok, but I can live with that. I doubt any software can be
100% against a new virus, so do image and file backups.

I have the 'heuristics' turned on in Avira (Free Version) and it probably
was a false positive.

PS: I was going to send the 'found' malware file to Virustotal for a scan.
I don't have a copy and now I can't get one. Very strange.

Another top contender has become Microsoft Security Essentials. I
believe AV-Comparatives rates it quite nicely. AVG has essentially
become a has-been and there are many more complaints about it than
praises.
