Best battery lifetime laptop.

I need to buy a new laptop.
I'd like to know which brands have the longest battery life?

I saw an IBM laptop... (not one of the ultra light weights) that said
it had a battery life of 9 hours with an extended battery option - or
something like that.
I haven't seen anyone else with a better battery life claim.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Use google and look at a lot of reviews,

If battery life is your criteria it may not be you best
judegement.There are quick charge devices to aid better systems that
may not have the best battery life.
Only you can decide on your lifestyle and usage.
