Best ATI card in $150 range?

I'm shopping for an ATI card. Should I basically just look for
things like pixel pipelines, core clock, memory clock, and memory
interface?

I want it primarily for gaining.

By the way, do dual monitors benefit by more memory, say greater
than 128 MB? For running Flight Simulator 2004?

Thank you.

I would stay away from the X1600. I was shopping around for a card tw
months ago, and every review site I read had nothing good to say abou
this card. Here's a sample

Do a search for other reviews and you'll see the same thing
For the money, you'd be better off getting the older generation X80
series. Though you'd be missing out on some newer tech, performanc
would be similar
Alternately, unless for some reason you're really stuck on ATI,
would look at Nvidia's offerings
