WordArt might be a viable option for this task. Insert, Picture,
WordArt brings up the WordArt Gallery. A pane can be selected and then
text can be edited. Once that is done and an OK is clicked, a WordArt
toolbar should appear. This provides an opportunity to make some
changes. WordArt Shape icon sends forward a large number of shapes from
which to choose. Once the shape is formed, adjustments can be preformed
using the yellow diamond handle.
