Does anyone have drivers for the Belkin Pre-N Wireless Desktop Adapter under
Vista (RC1), or know how to get this card working?

I Just installed the drivers from the CD (the manual way in system
properties then device manager) worked fine for me.

I did a clean install and have the Belkin Pre-N wireless router. RC1
recognized the router no problem. I remember, though, with Beta 2, upon doing
a few clean installs, that sometimes I had to reconfigure the Belkin router,
bvut I just used the disk that came with it--no problems. I'm sure you tried
the disc the cam with the Belkin, what happened?

Its not the router but the desktop/laptop adapter card. It crashes Vista.
In Pre RC1 a driver was available via Windows Update, but it constantly
failed to load. In RC1 there is no driver on Windows Update. Belkin don not
have drivers on their site.

Yeah, OK, sorry Chris. I don't know what to tell you. My belkin pre-n router
is in my Vista RC1 Desktop, and I have a Vista RC1 laptop with a built in
wifi card that has no problems picking it up, but that came preinstalled thru
Dell in June. I believe it is an intel card. I have an older dell desktop on
XP running too on the network as well, and I did have to go to Belkin's site
to download software to configure that right, but it was XP. Let me know how
things work out, because if I upgrade my other desktop to Vista, which I am
thinking of doing, I may have the same prob.

I'm crossposting this response:

You might want to look at the discussion called "Belkin 7050 drivers for
Vista" in the
microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general newsgroup.

It's not the same product, but the discussion might steer you in the right
direction.
