Beginner Question,

Hello,

I would like to call an URL from code behind, and wait on a response -
without taking the client to the actual URL.

For example:

- Client Fills in form
- Client hits submit
- Server requests http://www.google.com
- Server waits on response
- Server dumps response in a string called ResponseText
- Client is redirected to http://www.mydomainname.com/thankyou.aspx

Is this easy to do? Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Gary.

Yes, you have to use Web(Request/Response) classes. Take a look at MSDN
